Issues: what happens out there, seen in here
An issue is what was not planned: material is missing, something does not match the plan, there is damage, the customer asks for something else. In Zetein it is reported from the phone, with its photo, in the job it belongs to, and the office sees it without anyone having to call.
How it is reported from the field
In the job's conversation
Every planning entry, every request and every transport has its own conversation. The field worker writes what is happening and adds photos taken on the spot or from the gallery. They can also send just the photos.
With a new entry
If what is happening does not belong to any task, the field worker adds an entry to the planning, with its title, its description and its photos.
With name and date
Every message keeps who wrote it and when.
How the office finds out
While it is open, the desktop app notifies about what happens on every project, not just the one being viewed: in its notification bell and as a computer notification. Each person chooses what they want to be notified about. Project managers also receive the notifications on their phones.
And afterwards
What was said stays in the project. The desktop search finds the text of entries and of their replies, and traceability keeps who did what and when, without anyone being able to change or delete it.
With several companies on the project
On a project with subcontractors, what a subcontractor replies to the main contractor is private: no other subcontractor sees it. How working with subcontractors works.

Do photos use a lot of data?
Photos are reduced in size before being sent, so data usage is low.
Can I report something without signal?
Yes. What is written is saved on the phone and sent when the signal returns. What works without signal.
Who sees what a field worker writes?
On a project without subcontractors, their company. On a project with subcontractors, what a main contractor's field worker adds is seen only by the main contractor, and what a subcontractor's field worker adds is seen by their company and by the main contractor.
