What it is and who it is for
What is Zetein?
Zetein is software for trade businesses: installers, maintenance, renovation, construction, landscaping, assembly and any company with field workers working away from the office. It handles planning, material requests, work reports, issues, documents, checklists and coordination with subcontractors, with a desktop app for the office and a mobile app for field workers.
What kind of companies is it for?
Companies with people working away from the office that organise what they do by projects or by jobs. See who it is for.
What does Zetein not do?
It does not handle quotes, invoicing or stock, it does not take customer service requests and it does not manage maintenance contracts. It organises the work: planning, materials, work reports, issues, documents and checklists.
Do I have to change how I work?
Start with what you need most: organising tasks, requesting materials or completing reports. Zetein brings those needs together, so you can add the rest at your own pace.
Can I use it alongside my invoicing software?
Yes. Zetein does not invoice. Work reports are exported to Excel with the customer, the project, the field workers, the hours, the work done and the materials.
Pricing
How much does it cost?
€65 a month + VAT, or €650 a year + VAT. It is one price per company, for up to 49 users. See pricing.
Is there a per-person fee?
No. Up to 49 users, management, office staff and field workers all work within the same subscription.
What if my team grows?
The price includes up to 49 users per company, with no per-person fee, and unlimited projects and reports. For more users, Zetein Enterprise.
Is there a minimum term?
Not on the monthly plan. The annual plan covers one year, and visual customisation carries a twelve-month minimum term from activation.
How do I cancel?
The monthly plan can be cancelled at any time from the platform, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. The annual plan does not renew if you give at least thirty days' notice.
The apps
What devices does it run on?
The desktop app runs on Windows or Mac computers. The mobile app runs on Android phones; the iPhone app is pending publication on the App Store.
How is it installed?
The desktop app and the Android app are downloaded from your panel, at zetein.es. Management downloads the installers and passes them on to the team.
Is there an implementation process?
No. Download Zetein and start working.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. What is done on the phone without signal is saved on the phone and sent automatically when the signal returns. What works without signal.
Does everyone need their own email address?
Yes. Each person signs in with their own email address, field workers included.
Your data
Who controls the information?
Your company does. Information is encrypted on the device and access is governed by roles and permissions. You can export your data if you decide to leave Zetein.
Can Zetein read my data?
It cannot read the content of your projects: it is encrypted on your devices with a key Zetein does not have. See security.
What happens if I lose my password?
A field worker's or a project manager's password is reset by their company with a new code. Management's is reset with the company's recovery key; that is why it must be kept safe.
Can I work with another company when I need to?
Yes. Invite them to a project and choose which modules to share, keeping each company's private information separate.
