On your project and on someone else's
An installation company works in two ways, sometimes on the same day. On its own projects it is the main contractor: it organises its people and, if needed, invites other companies. On someone else's project it is a subcontractor: it is invited, sees what the main contractor shares with it and keeps its own work separate. Zetein works for both. Material, requested from the project
The installer requests what is missing from the phone: what, how much and how urgently. The office sees it, replies in the same request and marks when it has been ordered. When it arrives, the installer confirms delivery. How material requests work.
Diagrams, plans and data sheets on the phone
Each project's documentation is in its folders: plans and diagrams, documentation, delivery notes. The installer opens it on the phone and uploads photos of what has been done. Commissioning, point by point
The office writes in the task the list of what needs checking and marks where it wants a photo. The installer ticks it off on the phone and the office sees each point with its photo. How checklists work.
The work report, signed by the customer
When finished, the installer completes the work report on the phone: work done, hours and materials. The customer signs on the screen and a numbered PDF is created, which is filed in the project. How work reports work.
What Zetein does not do
It does not produce quotes or installation certificates, and it does not handle invoicing or stock. It organises the work and works alongside the software you already use for that.
Questions
Is it worth it if there are only three of us?
Yes. The price is per company, the same for three as for thirty, and there is no implementation process.
Can I use it on a builder's project when the builder does not have Zetein?
Yes, for your own work: you keep your planning, your material and your work reports on your own project. Sharing it with the main contractor is only possible if it also has Zetein.
Does it produce installation certificates?
No. Zetein organises the execution of the work; it does not generate regulatory documentation.
Does it work in a basement or a plant room with no signal?
Yes. Tasks, requests, checklists and work reports are saved on the phone and sent when the signal returns. What works without signal.
